Pathways-to-Peace

The Committee is committed to assist in the accomplishment of Rotary’s mission to enable Rotarians to advance world understanding, goodwill, and peace.

Peacebuilder Award. The Peace Committee annually organizes the promotion, selection, and presentation the club’s annual Peacebuilder of the Year Award.

Model UN - At our District 5340 Model UN weekend event, teams of 2 student ambassadors and a Rotary or teacher advisor represent a country at a mock General Assembly and debate and resolve real-life UN resolutions. 

Students learn conflict resolution, debating skills, critical & analytical thinking, and presentation skills. Students are exposed to different cultures, political ideologies, and the art of making peace.
