After a two-year Covid break, Stand Down returned in-person Saturday and Sunday, July 30-31, to provide wrap-around services for unhoused veterans. San Diego Downtown Rotary Club members donned mandatory masks, aprons, and warm smiles to serve breakfast on both days. The club has been involved with Stand Down, serving breakfast, since its earliest days. Masks make it hard to identify all the volunteers, who were organized by super-scheduler Bobbi Spinner-Flack.
