The Club partnered with District 3 San Diego City Council member Stephen Whitburn to assemble needed school supplies to help local public schools. Eleven public schools located in and near downtown asked for supplies with the start of the new school year. The club secured and donated quite a list of requested articles including 3,500 #2 pencils, 840 markers, many notebooks and composition books, pens, erasers, children’s books, and much more.
