R.I. President John Germ Visits the Fun Club With a View

 

On January 18, the San Diego Downtown Breakfast Rotary Club had the honor of hosting this year’s R.I. President John F. Germ at its Wednesday breakfast meeting.  At the crack of dawn in the beautiful setting of the University Club Atop Symphony Towers, we rolled out the red carpet (literally and figuratively) and warmly welcomed R.I. President John, his Aide Ron Beaubien and District Governor Marilyn Sanderson.

 

We then wowed a full house with a musical extravaganza by Club President Larry Potter at the piano performing his original song “Now Is The Time.”   R.I. President John addressed club members, guests, visiting Rotarians and Rotaract members, recognized our club’s many outstanding accomplishments, presented several new members with first-time Paul Harris Fellow pins (there were 12 total) and congratulated us on yet another year of being a 100% Paul Harris Club.  It was quite an exciting morning.  But that's how we roll!
