East Village Middle College H.S.Interactor of the Year
On May 15, 2024, the San Diego Downtown Breakfast Rotary Club presented the award for the East Village Middle College High School Interactor of the Year to Lana Lyn Achivida. She was described by Interact advisor Kendra Madden in this way. "Lana is a 9th grader who jumps at every chance to participate in club activities, from assisting in the garden, to fundraising for the international project. She has demonstrated positive energy, effort, creativity, and full engagement from day one -- even when it has meant giving up her Saturdays. Lana is already a model Interactor as a freshman!". She was accompanied by East Village Middle College High School Interact Club President, Jackie De Anda (far right), Vice-President Hailie Cuenca (second from right), and Kendra Madden (third from right). She received the certificate as well and a $150 gift card. Congratulations to Lana and many thanks to Greg Post for all he has done to support the EVMCHS Interact Club throughout the year.
