On June 30, San Diego Downtown Breakfast Rotarians joined District Rotarians from around San Diego and Imperial Counties to celebrate our new District Governor, Dan Gensler. Our own club member and Past-District Governor Scott Carr, served as Master of Ceremonies. Along with Scott, Past-District Governor Mel Gallegos, Judy Gallegos, Mary Engles, Bob Brewer, Judith Mansfield, Bobbi Spinner-Flack, and Andy Cook all attended in person and Larry Potter and Nancy Vaughan attended remotely. Nancy Vaughan and Pauline Lim- Endresson were honored with the District "People of Action" Award demonstrating their commitment to District-Level service. Their leadership to the District Four-Way Speech Contest and the Model United Nations were praised and celebrated by all those attending. Through the efforts of Nancy and Pauline, hundreds of San Diego high school students develop strong leadership skills that will stay with them in future years. Past-President Kim Stewart was honored for her extraordinary leadership for our club during the pandemic and Incoming President, Ann-Marie Bryan, was inducted as SDDBR Club President for the Rotary Year 2021-2022.
