Seven of us joined Melissa Chapman at her new digs in Escondido. Melissa Blackburn-Joniaux brought breakfast, which included juice, fruit and yogurt, homemade quiche, along with pastries and fresh coffee. Our host gave us a short course in what to look for when shopping for antiques and then regaled us with tales of how she got into the antique business and what led her to moving her collection to the north county.
