San Diego Downtown Breakfast Rotary
Serves Breakfast to Homeless Veterans
at the annual Veteran's Village Stand Down
On Friday, July 21st and Saturday, July 22nd two teams of Rotarians from our club served breakfast to several hundred homeless veterans gathered at the VVSD Stand Down next to Pechanga Arena in the Midway District. As the vets passed by the serving tables and collected a variety of tasty items, they were greeted by our club members and thanked for their service. Thank you to the 12 volunteers who showed up on Friday and the 13 who showed up onSaturday. And many thanks to to Bobbi Spinner-Flack for getting this wonderful hands-on experience arranged for us!
