CELEBRATING GARY MCELROY'S LEGACY
On a beautiful March afternoon, a group of our fellow Rotarians joined Interactors from East Village Middle College High School to celebrate the anniversary of the Gary McElroy Native Plant Garden.  We were treated to a tour of the garden by the vice-president of their club as she identified all the native plants for us.  We then had fun with a bingo game that the Interact club created.  The bingo cards all had names of the various plants in the garden and as these were called out, we circled them on our cards.  There were two winners who received potted native plants to take home.  In addition, we received a nice note from the EVMCHS Interact Club thanking us for our support.  Thank you to all who came out for this event and thank you to Greg Post and the Youth Service Committee for keeping us involved with this exceptional group of high school students!
