"What the F: What Swearing Reveals About Our Language, Our Brains and Ourselves"

Benjamin Bergen is a linguist in the Cognitive Science Department at UCSD. He will discuss his new book, "What The F*%+" and explain how the mind computes the meaning of words and sentences, why we swear, what makes a word profane and how the brain processes curse words.
